Premier League fans love hearing such validations, it never gets boring. Erling Haaland has revealed why he loves to watch the English game.
The 21-year-old Norwegian shared the views while having an exclusive interview with Sky Sports this week.
Asked which league he favours to choose when his television is on, Haaland revealed it is the English Premier League.
The former Malmo star said he appreciates the EPL for the full stadiums and intense emotions.
“I don’t like [empty stadiums], and you can see in England it’s full stadiums,” Haaland said to Sky as quoted by City Extra.
“If you look on TV you’d rather put on the English game – full of fans, more emotions, more alive the game…”
Meanwhile, Haaland is looking ahead to next Sunday’s game against Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.
