2023 Afcon qualifier: CAF appoints Sudanese officials for Sierra Leone, Nigeria clash

Confederation of African Football, CAF has named match officials from Sudan to take charge of 2024 African Cup of Nations, AFCON qualifier encounter between Sierra Leone and Nigeria in Monrovia, Liberia on Sunday.
The Matchday five of Group A is scheduled to be held in Monrovia following CAF’s disapproval of stadium in Freetown.
Sudan’s Mahmood Ismail will be center referee for the match and will be assisted by his fellow countryman, Mohammed Ibrahim who will serve as Assistant Referee 1.
Liban Ahmed from Djibouti will be the Assistant Referee for the match between the Leone Stars and the Super Eagles at SKD Stadium.
The 4th official is Mohamed Guedi, also from Djibouti, Kokou Djaoupe from Togo will be the Referee Assessor while Bakary Jammeh from Gambia will serve as the Match Commissioner.
Super Eagles needed a draw to secure their place in the AFCON but required total victory finish the group as leader.
