2025/26 NWFL Premiership: Bayelsa Queens vs Edo Queens headlines opening week

The 2025/26 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership season will officially kick off on November 26, 2025, with a thrilling Star Match of the Week between defending champions Bayelsa Queens and bronze medalists Edo Queens at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa.

The new campaign promises excitement and fresh rivalries across both groups, featuring 20 clubs — including three debutants: Ahudiyannem Queens, Castmog Ladies, and Pacesetter Queens.
