2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers: Falconets to face Rwanda or Zimbabwe in Second Round

Two time silver medalist, Nigeria’s U-20 women’s national team have been drawn bye the First Round o Qualifiers for the 2025 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.
The Falconets will join Africa qualification series from the Second Round.
The will face the winner of the First Round clash between Rwanda and Zimbabwe in September 2025.
Winners of the Second Round games will proceed to the third round in February 2026.
From the third round, the final stage of the qualifiers which is the Fourth Round will determine Africa’a four representatives in May 2026.
Falconets have reached the final of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup twice, losing on both occasions to Germany.
They reached the Round of 16 the last time out in 2024 when Colombia staged the tournament.
