NWFL Premiership: Emmanuel Osahon reacts to Robo Queens draw at Delta Queens
By Saheed Afolabi
Head coach of Robo Queens, Emmanuel Osahon has shared his insight into his side’s impressive performance in 1-1 draw against Delta Queens in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership on Wednesday in Asaba,
Folashade Ijamilusi 90th minute goal canceled out the Folajomi Olabiyi first half opener for the title holders.
While heaping praise on his players for their display, the tactician insists there’s still room for improvement.
“I feel happy with the draw and happy the girls prove a point, the game is like going to the Lions den and coming back safely. Kudos to the girls, we thank the almighty God,” Osahon told Nigeriafootball.ng exclusively.
“The game generally is not a bad game but there’s room for improvement.”
The Lagos Landladies will play host to visiting Bayelsa Queens in their next game at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan on Wednesday, December 20.
Robo Queens are fourth on the NWFL Premiership group B log with eight points and are tied on same points with third place Rivers Angels.
