Antonio Rudiger completes medical tests ahead of Real Madrid move
Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is set to join Real Madrid in the summer after he completed his medical tests.
Rudiger agreed to join Madrid in the summer on a free transfer having rejected the chance to stay at Chelsea beyond this season. The Germany international is set to join the Los Blancos on July 1 on a four-year deal understood to be worth €400,000 (£342,000) per week, per Sky Sports.
Blues boss Thomas Tuchel confirmed last month that Rudiger would not be re-signing with the club.
A number of clubs across Europe were interested in Rudiger, including Barcelona, PSG, and Manchester United.
However, the 29-year-old was flattered by Real’s interest and will now move to the Spanish capital.
Toni Rüdiger has already completed his medical tests as new Real Madrid player, club sources confirm. Deal now 100% done as reported earlier. ⚪️? #RealMadrid
