Ogbonda confirms Rivers Angels’ mental, physical readiness ahead of Delta Queens clash

Technical Adviser of Rivers Angels, Whyte Ogbonda has disclosed his team’s preparedness to take on Delta Queens in the semifinal of President Federation Cup.
The Jewels of Rivers will be squaring up against their South South counterpart at the Awka City Stadium on Sunday.
The eventual winner will seal a place in the final of tournament which has been scheduled to take place in Abuja next Sunday.
Ogbonda said his girls are in positive spirit heading to the watch even as they are aware of difficult that could arise from the encounter.
Coach Whyte Ogbonda stated that Sunday’s match is a different ball game, unlike their league encounters, and expressed hope to emerge victorious and qualify for the finals.
He also attributed the team’s readiness to the huge support from the Rivers State government, despite the harsh economy, and acknowledged the pressure to deliver.
“We are mentally and psychologically ready, thanks to the tremendous support from the Rivers State government,” Ogbonda told the club media.
“We owe it to the state government to lift this trophy, considering their investment in us despite the economic situation,” he concluded.
The eventual winner will be taking on winner between Naija Ratels and Remo Stars Ladies in the final.
