Former Nigeria international Odion Ighalo has expressed his gratitude after meeting the Inspector General of the Nigeria Police Force, Kayode Egbetokun.

The former Manchester United striker, who scored 15 goals last season for his Saudi Pro League club Al-Wehda, has been meeting with some prominent figures in the country during his vacation.

Recently, he was seen with Super Falcons star Rasheedat Ajibade and renowned Nigerian preacher Jerry Eze.

The 35-year-old has now taken to social media to share photos of his meeting with the IGP.

“A privilege to meet with the Inspector General Of The Nigeria Police Force, IGP Kayode Egbetokun and FPRO ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi,” Ighalo posted on Instagram. “Thank you for the warm reception and the gifts.”

Ighalo, who earned 35 caps for the Super Eagles, was the highest goalscorer at the 2019 AFCON.
