Kwara United have arranged a friendly match against city rivals ABS FC as they prepare for the resumption of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The friendly is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, January 8, at the Kwara State Stadium Complex in Ilorin.
The match will serve as a vital warm-up for Kwara United, as they aim to fine-tune their preparations ahead of their upcoming rescheduled Matchday 16 fixture against Enyimba FC next week.
The encounter will also provide ABS FC with an opportunity to sharpen their skills ahead of their own Nigeria National League (NNL) home game this weekend.
The second round of the 2024-25 NPFL season is set to resume on Saturday, January 25, and Kwara United will be eager to kick off the new year with a strong performance against Enyimba.
