The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced that the registration deadline for the upcoming CAF B-License Coaching Course will close at midnight on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
NFF Technical Director, Coach Augustine Eguavoen, emphasized that the four-month course is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of Nigerian coaches, preparing them for the current and future challenges in football. The course is open to both male and female coaches.
“As I stated some weeks ago, the CAF B-License course is part of NFF’s strategic effort to build the capacity of coaches across the country, and will be conducted in modules,” Coach Eguavoen explained.
To be eligible for the course, participants must meet specific criteria, including being an active coach, holding a CAF C-License certificate, and possessing basic computer skills.
Eguavoen also mentioned that the registration deadline has been brought forward due to the overwhelming response.
“The response has been pretty awesome, and that is why we now have to bring the deadline forward. The new deadline is midnight of Tuesday, 25th February 2025 for intending participants,” he said.
This announcement follows the success of the CAF C-License programme exclusively for women, which was held last year and saw 30 women coaches, including former Nigeria international players, complete the three-module course.
