Bendel Insurance confirm departure of 14 players ahead of 2025/26 season

Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club Bendel Insurance has confirmed the departure of 14 players as part of a strategic squad reshaping ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Among the departing players is stand-in captain Meyiwa Oritseweyinmi, widely known as Meyis, who has served the club with distinction for over a decade.

His leadership, loyalty, and professionalism—on and off the pitch—have left a lasting legacy in Benin City.

Also exiting the club are:
Michael Enaruna, Stephen Sodje, Uche Collins, Zaidu Ayuba, Chinedu Onyejiekwe, James Oransaye, and Solihu Dogo.

The club also parts ways with Amietimi Enewarikpemi, Ransom Mdasiri, Samson Olawale, Ogbonna Arinze, Mohammed Bashir, and Martins Owolijah.

Bendel Insurance expressed its heartfelt appreciation to all departing players for their service and contributions to the club’s journey.
