Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan have strengthened their squad ahead of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season with the capture of goalkeeper Ozovehe Emmanuel Adeiza from reigning champions Remo Stars.
The Oluyole Warriors announced the deal via their official Facebook page with the post “ADEIZA IS A SHOOTING STAR”, confirming that the 25-year-old has signed a three-year contract.
“We are pleased to confirm that Ozovehe Emmanuel Adeiza has signed a three-year contract with Shooting Stars. The goalkeeper arrives from Remo Stars,” the club statement read.
Adeiza joins as a key reinforcement for Gbenga Ogunbote’s side, who are determined to mount a stronger challenge this term. His arrival is expected to bring stability and experience to a squad that continues its rebuild under the veteran coach.
A member of Remo Stars’ historic title-winning side last season, Adeiza played a vital role in their defensive resilience, earning a reputation as one of the league’s most reliable goalkeepers thanks to his sharp reflexes and calm presence under pressure.
For the former Remo Stars man, the switch represents a chance to step into the spotlight as a potential first-choice goalkeeper at a club steeped in tradition.
Four-time NPFL champions Shooting Stars will hope Adeiza’s signing not only shores up their backline but also fuels their ambitions of returning to continental football.
