NPFL: Leonard Ngenge seals Remo Stars move from Ikorodu City

By Wale Mustapha

Nigeria defender Leonard Ngenge has completed a switch from Ikorodu City to Remo Stars ahead of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

Remo Stars confirmed the deal on Friday, expressing confidence that the former Super Eagles Team B player will bring both depth and quality to their backline.

Ngenge, who featured at the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), joins at a crucial time for the Sky Blue Stars following the departure of Junior Nduka to an Iraqi club.

Club officials believe the young defender’s combination of technical ability and international experience makes him a natural fit for the team.

The move also represents a significant step forward in Ngenge’s career as he prepares to make his mark in the NPFL.
