The Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Interim Management Committee, Davison Owumi says the mandate is to give Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) the very best no matter how long it takes.

Gbenga Elegbeleye will be conclude its mandate before any decision can be taken on a board for the NPFL.
The former Enugu Rangers general manager further revealed that the IMC is trying to clean the league system and its approach is system driven.
“We were given an appointment and going about it the way we think is the best way to go about it. Trying to clean the system. For today, the tenure is not part of our worries,” Owumi told Brila FM.
“Let it be that we get things right for Nigerian football which is the essence so that whoever comes in will move ahead. What we have done so far is system-driven and not personality driven.
“The partnership, template we are putting in place are all system driven and gas nothing to do with individuals.”
