Jonathan Akpoborie tasks Victor Osimhen to be careful with next transfers

Nigeria ex international, Jonathan Akpoborie has advised Victor Osimhen to be careful about his future endeavours.

The Napoli goal poacher has been speculated to be on the radar of top clubs in Europe but he’s committed to Partenopei he joined from Lille.

Akpoborie admitted to be a big fan of Osimhen and have followed the striker’s growth in recent years, urging that Super Eagles forward to analyze his next move well before committing his future.

“I have followed the progress of Osimhen closely for both club and country, and I think he has done pretty well for himself,” Akpoborie told Complete Sports.

“Helping Napoli to win the Serie A title is a big achievement considering the fact that his goals played a big role for the club.

“Yes, big clubs are already demanding for his signature but I will advise him to carefully analyze his next move before making a decision. Whatever decision he makes will make or mar his progress as a player.”

Osimhen took the world by storm in the 2022/2023 season in Italy to emerge the highest goal scorer award with 26 goals. He has been tipped to win the Africa Footballer of the Year following his massive performance for Napoli.
