NWFL Championship: Muhammed Paul aims Premiership ticket with Kwara Ladies

Head Coach of Kwara Ladies has set the target of securing ticket to the apex league in Nigerian women’s league at the Nigeria Women’s Football League, NWFL Championship playoffs.
10 teams are currently in Ikenne for the second tier division of women’s league in Nigeria with Kwara Ladies among the teams aspiring to play in the Premier League.
A young and experienced Coach Paul who is tinkering a women’s team for the first time in his coaching is relishing the moments noting that it was a worth while experience.
Coach Paul who is one of the notable young coaches said that his target is to nick the ticket to the country’s topflight, while admitting he is aware of the daunting task to make it happen.
“I must confess that this is my first time with women’s team, but its been amazing to be with this set of players, its a bit different from to handle boys but its been good,” Paul told Nigeriafootball.ng.
“I’ve been able to blend in with them, understand how to pass the message to them and we have been able to be on the same page as regards what we intend to achieve.
“Its not impossible to make it from here because all the teams seem to be on the same level, so I’m optimistic we can make history together, I know it may not be easy but we are ready to walk through and hope to come out of it successfully,” he concluded.
The NWFL Championship, will be held in Sagamu and Ikenne simultaneously in Ogun State from July 7th to 14th, 2023.
Other teams participating at the championship include Prince Kazeem Eletu FC, Honey Badgers, Ekiti Queens FC, Imo Strikers, Dream Star Ladies, Sunshine Queens, Lakeside Football Academy, Delta Babes, Pelican Stars, Dannaz FC,  and Moje Queens
