BIIK Kazygurt signs Anuoluwapo Salisu from Bayelsa Queens

Kazakhstan women side, BIIk Kazygurt have completed the signing of Nigeria star, Anuoluwapo Salisu on a two-year deal with an undisclosed fee.

Salisu was recently released by Bayelsa Queens before making the move to the Kazakhstan Women Football Championship champions this summer.

The former Bayelsa Queens playmaker started her career with Dreamstars Ladies in Lagos where she was groomed to a world class player.

The Prosperity Girls snapped her up from the Galaticas and she remained a mainstay in the heart of Bayelsa Queens midfield.

The midfield maestro have starred for Nigeria in the U17 and U20 stage. She also won the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership title with Bayelsa Queens in the 2022/2023 season and the Nigeria Federation Cup title in 2023.

Salisu was part of the Prosperity Girls squad that won the Wafu B CAF Champions League playoffs in 2022 and went on to lead the team to a third place (Bronze) finish at the CAF Champions League in Morocco.

The playmaker is a threat with her valuable passes and in-depth touches which is capable of sending opposing players sprawling on the pitch.
