2023 Nigeria Beach Soccer League Champions to be crowned in Birnin Kebbi

The winners of the 2023 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) will be crowned in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi state capital on Sunday, August 20, 2023.

In a letter on Tuesday, the NBSL Secretariat confirmed to club secretaries and coordinators which specified the date for the final phase of the ongoing league season.

Teams are expected to arrive in Birnin Kebbi on August 15 before a press conference a day after on August 16.

To claim the league champions, each team will play four games from August 17 to 20. Six teams are featuring in the finals of this season’s NBSL, following the conclusion of first and second phase of the current league.

2021 champions, Kebbi BSC lead the log with 16 points ahead of Nmanko Patigi BSC (12 points), Kebbi United BSC (11 points), Kada BSC (9 points), Ibom BSC (1 point), and Smart City BSC (0 points).

This is the third edition of the league which started in 2021, with Kebbi Fishers winning the inaugural edition in Kaduna State before Kada BSC clinched the second campaign in Kebbi State last term.
