Gov. Adeleke hosts Rasheedat Ajibade and Rofiat Imuran at Osun State house

The Governor of Osun State, Sen. Ademola Adeleke, has showered praises on Rasheedat Ajibade and Rofiat Imuran on Saturday following the Super Falcons heroic outing at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The Super Falcons exceeded all pre-tournament expectations and gave the significantly more fancied England a tougher game than anyone anticipated, going the distance, all the way to penalty shootouts where they lost 4-2.

Despite losing out, the team has received a lot of praise for their strong performance, and the latest person on that train is Davido’s uncle, Governor Adeleke.

In a social media post, the Governor was pictured with both players at his state house in Osun State.

Along with the pictures is message that reads: “It was a homecoming for the duo of Super Falcons players Rasheedat Ajibade & Rofiat Imuran. The Governor of Osun State @AAdeleke_01 treated them to a grand reception at his country home in Ede.”
