Muhammed Tijani: Nigerian striker steals show with winning goal for Slavia Prague

Nigeria striker, Muhammed Tijani won man of the match award as his solitary goal helped Slavia Prague defeated Mlada Boleslav 1-0 in the Matchday Four of Czech’s Fortuna Liga on Sunday.

The young striker who joined the capital club this summer from Ostrava, came off the bench to score the only goal that kept Slavia maintaining their 100 percent start to the new season.

The goal came 60 seconds into the striker’s introduction after both sides failed to register a shot on target in first half.

Tijani’s goal ended the unbeaten start of Boleslav  in the season and has however sent Slavia to joint top with Sparta Prague on the same 12 points.

The former U20 forward will be hoping to get more game times and goal for his new employer as the season progresses.
