AC Milan defender Alessandro Florenzi has admitted that the absence of Samuel Chukwueze played a role as Milan fell to a 1-0 defeat against Udinese at the Guiseppe Meazza Stadium on Saturday.
The defender believes the unpredictability of Chukwueze and Christian Pulisic could have made the difference.
These absences were felt as Milan lacked the cutting edge in the final third, registering 14 goal attempts but failing to convert any.
The duo missed the tie due to injuries as Stefano Pioli also missed Simon Kjaer, Pierre Kalulu, and Ismael Bennacer.

“It was good to play with the two forwards, but when we couldn’t find the goal, we got nervous, and the defeat came.”
