AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori reveals most cherished career title

Nigeria eligible player, Fikayo Tomori has revealed that the Italian Serie A trophy is his most desired career title.

The AC Milan defender defender has been a regular for the club since making his move from Chelsea and has scored one goal in 55 appearances for the Rossoneri.

The Milan man, who was pivotal in the team’s title success in 2021/22 season insists that he remains satisfied with his career achievements, holding no regrets should he miss out on the Scudetto again this term.

“My dream in life might sound a bit banal, but it is to have no regrets,” Tomori told media.

“At the end of my career, I want to be able to say that I did everything I could, that I allowed myself to be me. In the end, if I win a million trophies or if I have only won the Scudetto, I will still be satisfied with what I have done.”

The former Canadian youth international feels Italian football is more about positioning, while the English game is  more of instinct.

“In Italy it’s more like, okay, this is where you have to be when the ball arrives. This is the way your body has to be. This is where you have to pass the ball.

“In England you can play more by instinct. In Italy you try to eliminate that as much as possible, so you already know what to do on the pitch, how to play and where to pass the ball.”
