Ademola Lookman: Nigeria forward ends goal drought in Atalanta win at Cremonese

Nigeria’s attacking midfielder, Ademola Lookman was able to find his scoring boots again on Saturday as he helped Atalanta to a huge 3-1 Italia Serie A victory at Cremonese.
The Super Eagles forward has find scoring hard to come by having scored his last goal for Atalanta in January but finally broke her goalscoring jinx for Davide Ballardini’s side at Stadio Giovanni Zini.
The former Leicester City striker was a second half substitute in the win over the relegation battlers, Cremonese but was able to make huge impact at the match.
Dutch midfielder, Marten De Roon gave Atalanta the lead with just a minute to end the first half.
Coach Gasperini brought in Lookman for Luis Muriel at the start of the second half before Cremonese level things up courtesy of a penalty by Daniel Ciofani.
Ivory Coast attacker, Jeremie Boga restored Atalanta’s lead in the 72nd minutes as he connected with a brilliant pass from Rasmus Hujlund.
Cremonese threw Nigeria’s Cyril Dessers on for the late surge, but Lookman sealed the victory for the visitors in the added time.
The La Dea have been boosted by the win, lifting them up to sixth on the log with 48 points from 28 games. Lookman has now increased his season tally to 13 in 27 appearances.
