Nigeria winger, Ademola Lookman, has expressed mixed emotions following Atlético Madrid’s disappointing result against Real Betis on Sunday.
The Nigerian international admitted his frustration with the outcome but remained optimistic about the team’s prospects going forward.
“Not the result we wanted, but we stay positive,” Lookman said after the encounter.
Despite the setback, the former Atalanta star highlighted a major personal milestone, revealing his excitement at making his debut appearance at the iconic Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, which he described as a special moment in his career.
“Very special moment making my debut in the Metropolitano. Aupa Atleti,” he added.
Lookman will now be hoping to build on his debut performance as Atlético Madrid seeks improved results in their upcoming fixtures.
