Ademola Lookman to miss Barcelona Champions League clash

By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

Nigeria forward, Ademola Lookman will be sidelined for the UEFA Champions League match against Barcelona.

He will be out of the encounter due to a knee injury he sustained during training.

The reigning African Footballer of the year has played pivotal roles in his team campaign both in the Champions League and Italian Serie A.

He has scored four goals with two assists in six UEFA Champions League games this season for Atalanta.

Lookman guided the Italian side to the UEFA Europa League title with a hat trick in the final match last season.

Napoli currently occupy the seventh position in the Champions League with 14 points after seven games.

The position is enough to qualify for the quarter final but a slip down to ninth or below equates to qualification for the Round of 16 Playoffs.
