AFCON 2023: Juan Micha Obiang names 26-man Equatorial Guinea squad for Nigeria

Head coach of Equatorial Guinea national team, Juan Micha Obiang has called up 26 players that will feature at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The Nazlang Nacional gaffer invited three goalkeepers, eight defenders, 10 midfielders, and five attackers.

Los Elefantes will open their campaign at Africa’s biggest football showpiece against Nigeria.

This will be followed by other Group A clashes with Guinea Bissau and host, Cote d’Ivoire.

The Central Africans had previously played at four AFCONs after their debut in 2012 but are yet to win the title.

A fourth-place finish was their best result at the tournament in 2015.
