Afcon 2023: Osimhen loses Nigeria-Equatorial Guinea’s Man of the Match to Jesus

Equatorial Guinea goalkeeper, Lazaro Owono has emerged the Man Of The Match (MOTM) in the Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) game against Nigeria.

The Guinean shot stopper was ontop of his game to make crucial saves in denying the star studded Super Eagles players a win.

The Deportivo Alavés goalkeeper was exceptional in goal and was the saviour for his side as they scooped a point in the game against the Africa giant.

Owono denied the Africa king of football, Victor Osimhen a winning goal in the game with two one on one saves.

Equatorial Guinea are third on the group A table with one point from a game.

The Super Eagles will hope to redeem their status when they take on host nation, Ivory Coast on Thursday, January 18.
