AFCON 2025 Qualifiers: Libya confirm arrival date for Super Eagles’ clash in Uyo

The Libyan men’s national football team has announced that they will arrive in Nigeria on Monday, October 7, for their 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against the Super Eagles.
The Mediterranean Knights are set to face the three-time AFCON champions in Matchday Three of the qualifiers at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Friday, October 11.
According to a schedule released by the Libyan Football Federation, they will also host the Super Eagles for the reverse fixture on Tuesday, October 15.
Libya has started preparations for the qualifiers in Tripoli and currently sits at the bottom of Group D with just one point after two rounds of matches.
In contrast, the Super Eagles lead the group with four points, making this upcoming encounter crucial for both teams.
