AFCON qualifier: NFF set Super Eagles resumption date for Sao Tome and Principe duel

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has revealed when the men’s senior national team camp will open for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe.

September 4 as the date that the Super Eagles will resume camping for their last AFCON 2024 qualifier.

Though, Nigeria have already sealed their place at the 2024 AFCON in Ivory Coast with one game to go against Sao Tome and Principe who they recorded an heavy win against in the first leg in Morocco.

The Super Eagles squad for the Sao Tome clash is expected to be made up of exceptional home based players who will be given their own fair chance to prove their worth in the national team.

The Eagles squad list is expected to be out soon as the game is less than a month to go. Nigeria top group A of the AFCON 2024 qualifiers with 12 points from five matches.
