Agama Ziperekefeghe scores debut goal for Famalicao in stalemate with Albergaria

Nigeria’s Agama Ziperekefeghe had a dream debut for the Portuguese women’s top-flight side, FC Famalicao, on Saturday.

The former Naija Ratels player scored a goal to help FC Famalicao to a 2-2 draw with host, Albergaria/ Durit at the Estadio do Mergulhao.

Karoline opened scoring for the travelers in the 31st minute of play.

The lead lingered till the 71st minute when Bailey Wesco equalized for the host.

Laura Luis gave Albergaria the lead for the first time in the 75th minute.

Agama scored in the 78th minute to salvage a point for Famalicao in the 78th minute.

Her compatriot, Ali Paulina, who also played for Naija Ratels, also had her debut for Famalicao.

Famalicao occupy the 11th position with seven points after six games in the relegation zone.

They will face Torreense in their next league match on March 2, 2025.
