Ahmed Musa: Super Eagles captain pens touching remembrance message for late mom

Nigeria men’s national team captain Ahmed Musa has taken to social media to remember his late mother, Sarah Moses who passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 in a hospital in Abuja.
Four years after her death, the Super Eagles captain took to social media to remember his late mother who was in intensive care unit in Abuja before she passed away.
The Sivasspor forward post photos of his mom burial ceremony for her fourth remembrance, with  a touching message, saying: “Dear mum, it’s been 4 years without you and not a single day pass without me thinking about you.
“The void you have left is so evident but I am grateful because I am doing all I can to make you proud. We all miss you dearly.
“My confidence is that you are in a better place looking down on us all. I miss you beyond words can express. Rest well mum.”
Following the death of his mother, Musa opened a secondary school named after her to celebrate his 30th birthday.
The institution is titled Mrs. Sarah! M&S international school and is located in Musa’s hometown of Bukuru, Jos South Local Government in Plateau State.
Musa is expected to return to action for Sivasspor in their next league game against Adana Demirspor scheduled for Saturday, January 28, 2023.
