Akinsanmiro scores twice on Monza debut against Milan Futuro

Nigeria international midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro scored twice on his debut for Monza as the newly promoted Serie A side beat Milan Futuro 4-2 in a pre-season fixture.

The 20-year-old, who joined Monza from Inter Milan, was introduced as a substitute and made a decisive impact after Milan Futuro had twice taken the lead.

Akinsanmiro’s goals completed a strong finish for Monza and opened his account for the club at the first opportunity. The match was intended to help Monza prepare for the demands of the new season, although their performance also suggested there is still work to do before the campaign begins.
