Alex Iwobi helps Everton climb out of the Premier League drop zone

Nigeria midfielder, Alex Iwobi produced another brilliant performance on Saturday to help his Everton side breath a sigh of relief in their bid to survive relegation in the Premier League following a 1-0 home win over Leeds United.
The important win over another relegation threatened side ensured a second victory for Sean Dyche as Everton manager.
Both teams came into the match in search of a lifeline to retain their top flight statuses but it was Everton that showed more intention and purpose.
Despite a brilliant opportunities to shoot themselves in front at half time, it ended goalless as both team headed for the dugout.
The second period saw a more determined Toffees side with more attacking threats that would soon yield positives for them.
Iwobi gave more reasons he’s been favored to start all games for Everton under every manager since his arrival as he produced yet another historic moments in the four minutes after the hour mark.
The Super Eagles’ midfielder combined well with Amadou Onana in a swift build up before releasing Everton captain, Seamus Coleman who prodded home for the eventual winning goal for Everton.
That however took Iwobi’s goal involvement for Everton to seven with six assists and a goal.
Jordan Pickford thwarted what could have been a leveler for Leeds and secured the match points for the hosts as well as moving them away from drop zone leaving Leeds in the bottom three.
It was also a peculiar hoodoo for Dyche, claiming first-ever top-flight victory over Leeds making him boast of victories over all 31 of his Premier League opponents as a manager.
