It is the first time that an Everton home shirt will have a collar as seen on the 27-year-old Super Eagles star.
The collar pays homage to the iconic Hummel Denmark home shirt from their 1992 European Championship victory.
The jersey honors a beloved custom at Goodison Park and is one of their partner Hummel’s most recognizable designs.
The sleeves of the shirt incorporate the same famous pattern that has been a part of Everton’s stadium since 1909, and it will honor Goodison’s renowned Archibald Leitch design on its trim.
As part of a variety of design ideas honoring the brand’s centennial year, Everton dropped their new home kit on Thursday, June 29, ahead of the start of their pre-season tour.
