Amunike reveals secret to Heartland FC win over Shooting Stars

Heartland FC’s Technical Adviser, Emmanuel Amunike, has disclosed that his team’s 2-1 defeat of Shooting Stars FC in week 24 of the Nigeriaby Premier Football League was a result of a well-planned tactical strategy.

Amunike revealed that his team had studied Shooting Stars’ strengths and weaknesses and had devised a plan to frustrate them throughout the game.

“We knew how good Shooting Stars FC of Ibadan were, and we tactically planned for them,” Amunike told media.

“We frustrated them throughout the entire game, and we were persistently a threat in their goalpost.”

Shooting Stars’ Head Coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, corroborated Amunike’s claims, saying: “The game was not bad, Heartland FC played a good game, and with a good coach, honestly, their tactics worked for them.”

Amunike also expressed optimism about his team’s chances of lifting the league title but emphasized the need for hard work and divine intervention.

According to him, “It’s a process and hard work will never be a non-negotiable item in anything that can make us grow as a team.”
