Annabelle Chukwu: Canada hands Nigeria eligible starlet senior call-up

Nigeria eligible, Annabelle Chukwu has been called up to the Canadian team for the two legged tie against Jamaica.
Annabelle received her second call up to the senior women’s team after injury to forward, Deanne Rose.
The 16 year old has starred for Canada at age grade teams and scored a goal against France at the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in India.
Annabelle earned her first call up at the age of 15 last year November when the Canucks played Brazil in an international friendly game.
She played an integral part for Canada U20 side as she led them to a third place finish in the CONCACAF by defeating Costa Rica 5-3 where she banged in a brace to qualify for the 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.
The NDC Ontario forward scored five goals in a single game for her club in the 10-1 bashing of Prostars FC.
The goal poacher also has a twin sister that plays for Canada youth sides.
