Asaba to host 2023 Nigeria Women’s Football League Premiership Super Six

The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership Super Six for the 2022/2023 season will hold in Asaba, the capital of Delta State.
This was confirmed in a letter sent to the six qualified teams dated May 1, 2023, with the six participating teams will arrive in Asaba for the draw and pre-match meetings on Friday, May 5.
Action will commence on the pitch of play on Saturday, May 6, with Matchday One games followed by Matchday two games on Sunday.
Monday, May 8, will be observed as a rest day before the resumption of actions on Tuesday, May 9, and Wednesday, May 10, with Matchday 3 and 4 games.
Thursday, May 11, will also be observed as another rest day before the final Matchday on Friday, May 12.
The NWFL Premiership champions and Nigeria’s representatives at the 2023 Zonal Qualifiers for the CAF Champions League will be crowned on May 12 after five round-robin games between the six qualified teams.
Holders, Bayelsa Queens alongside, Delta Queens, Rivers Angels, Edo Queens, FC Robo Queens, and Confluence Queens will battle it out for the league title at the 2023 NWFL Premiership Super Six.
