Bayelsa Queens chairman, Pastor Robin Apreala, has set his sights on securing top-quality players for the club as they prepare for the next season.
The Prosperity Girls finished third last season, behind Rivers Angels and the eventual winners, Edo Queens.
Apreala revealed that the club has already begun planning for the upcoming season, focusing on both financial and technical aspects to ensure success, emphasizing the club’s active pursuit of top players to strengthen their squad and challenge for the NWFL Premiership title.
“We are in the NWFL Premiership. What it means is that we must plan. We must look at the financial criteria, we must look at the technical aspect, the infrastructure among others,” Apreala told Bayelsa Queens media.
“We have started our scouting review. We have gone around to get players that will beef up the team we have for next season’s NWFL Premiership.
“We are going to do our best to make Bayelsa State proud. We have played in the NWFL Premiership for a long time and we have maintained good records. We will compete and not just participate next season, and with the quality of players we have and the ones we will sign, we will make the state very proud.”
Bayelsa Queens are determined to build a formidable team capable of claiming the NWFL Premiership title next season, reinforcing their commitment to excellence and success in Nigerian women’s football.
