Bendel Insurance goalkeeper Joshua Baba returns after unauthorised absence
Bendel Insurance goalkeeper Joshua Baba has returned to the club after spending several days away without permission, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Benin City-based Nigeria Premier Football League side confirmed that Baba had apologised for his actions and resumed training with his team-mates.
The club did not provide further details about the circumstances surrounding the goalkeeper’s departure or his absence.
Baba’s return ends the unauthorised spell away from the Benin Arsenal and allows the team to continue preparations for its NPFL campaign.
