Benin Republic to host second edition of WAFU B U-20 Girls’ Tournament

Benin Republic will host the second edition of the WAFU B U-20 Girls’ Cup from November 3 to 10, 2025, bringing together some of West Africa’s most promising young talents in women’s football.
The regional competition will feature Ghana, winners of the inaugural edition, alongside Nigeria, Niger, and Benin as the host nation.
The week-long tournament is expected to deliver exciting fixtures and top-quality football, serving as a vital platform for the development and promotion of women’s football within the West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone B.
Benin’s hosting of the event reflects the country’s increasing commitment to advancing women’s football, offering an opportunity to showcase local and regional talents on an international stage.
The tournament also reinforces WAFU’s ongoing mission to strengthen youth competitions and create pathways for young female players to progress into senior national teams across the sub-region.
