Enugu Rangers captain Chinemeren Ugwueze is bracing for a challenging encounter against Sagrada Esperança in the second leg of their CAF Champions League qualifier in Angola.
The Flying Antelopes head into the match with a slim advantage, having secured a narrow 1-0 victory in the first leg.
Ugwueze expressed confidence in his team’s readiness, stating, “We are very focused and have put in a lot of preparation for the second leg encounter against Sagrada Esperança.”
He acknowledged the high intensity and pressure expected in the upcoming match but affirmed the players’ determination to defend the club’s honor.
“I think that with the intensive training we have done since the end of the first leg, we are good to go,” he added. “Sure, it’s going to be a high-pressure game, but we have our work cut out, and we are optimistic.”
