CAFCC: ‘Rivers United not under pressure against APC Lobito’ – Nyima Nwagua

Captain of Rivers United, Nyima Nwagua has played down talks of his side being under pressure to achieve favorable result against Academica Petroleos Club, APC Lobito in the CAF Confederation Cup clash on Sunday.
The Nigeria’s last representative at this year’s continental football will be guest to Lobito in Luanda at the November 11 Stadium in Luanda with an eye on the match points as they quest to pick a quarterfinal ticket.
Nwagua said the team is aware of the importance of the match and are ready to give it all to achieve the set goals.
“We are not under any pressure, we are very calm and focused on tomorrow’s match, we’ve done all that is needed to do as regards preparations and we are ready for the match,” Nwagua told media in Luanda.
“We know they (APC Lobito) are a very good side, they like to possess the ball and we respect them for that but we are mapping out our own plans to carry the day.”
Rivers United are currently third on the Group C standing with six points.
A win against the APC will take them to nine points and a touching distance to finish top two in the group.
