Isaac Success Secures Loan Move to Malaga, Joining Ideye in LaLiga Quest

Malaga, Spain – Nigerian striker Isaac Success has embarked on a new chapter in his football journey, securing a loan move to Spanish La Liga club Malaga CF for the remainder of the season from English Premier League side Watford. The announcement of Success’s loan move was jointly made by Watford and Malaga through their official channels, marking a significant development in the player’s career.
“Winger Isaac Success has agreed to a deadline day loan move to Málaga. The 22-year-old, who has played 20 times for the Hornets and scored once, will spend the remainder of the 2017/18 season with the Spanish La Liga outfit,” read the statement on Watford’s official website.
Similarly, Malaga, fresh from signing Nigerian forward Brown Ideye on a six-month loan deal earlier in the week, officially welcomed Success to their ranks. The club’s announcement on their website stated, “The attacker Isaac Success arrives at Málaga CF on loan, from English Watford FC, until the end of the current season 2017/18.”
Success’s move to Malaga comes at a time when he has faced challenges in securing a regular spot at Watford due to a combination of injuries and loss of form. Despite featuring 19 times for the Hornets last season, his appearances have been limited in the current campaign, making only one appearance in the Carabao Cup.
The loan move to Malaga offers Success the opportunity to reignite his career and contribute to Malaga’s LaLiga campaign. With fellow Nigerian striker Brown Ideye also in the squad, the duo is set to bring a dynamic and formidable presence to Malaga’s forward line, as the club aims for success in the current season.
