Chelsea’s Tosin Adarabioyo to decide soon on international future

By Wale Mustapha

Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo has revealed that he will soon make a decision regarding his international career, weighing options between representing England or Nigeria.

Born in England to Nigerian parents, the 27-year-old centre-back remains eligible to play for either national team.

Adarabioyo has represented England 14 times across various youth levels but has yet to make a senior competitive appearance.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has previously expressed interest in securing his services, and Adarabioyo acknowledged ongoing discussions about a potential switch in allegiance.

“That is a question I have answered quite a bit recently,” Adarabioyo told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

“Yeah, it is something that we are looking into in the future. It is a conversation I want to have; we will see how that goes.”

With his decision expected soon, fans and officials from both countries await clarity on the defender’s international allegiance.
