Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated for the French League goalkeeper of the year award.
Known as Africa’s best goalkeeper and a talented Nigerian player, she is once again in the hunt for a major accolade.
She is up for the Arkema Premier League’s Best Goalkeeper for the 2024/2025 season.
This is not her first nomination; last season, she beat Christine Endler to win the same prize.
This year, the competition is tougher. She will compete against two top goalkeepers: Chilean Christiane Endler from Lyon and English player Mary Earps from PSG.
Nnadozie had a strong season, ending with 10 clean sheets. Endler recorded 13, while Earps secured 8.
Though the numbers are close, each goalkeeper has a different style and leadership. They all played well throughout the season. It will be an exciting race to see who wins.
Nnadozie’s hard work and skill motivate many young goalkeepers worldwide.
