Club Brugge Lower Asking Price for Onyedika as Galatasaray Interest Grows

Nigeria midfielder Raphael Onyedika has long been linked with a move to Turkish giants Galatasaray, and new reports suggest Club Brugge have now lowered their asking price.

According to transfer journalist lKaya Temel, the Belgian champions are now willing to let Onyedika leave for a fee of €14 million.

Earlier reports around Christmas indicated that Club Brugge were holding out for as much as €25 million and were reluctant to part ways with the midfielder during the winter transfer window. However, Temel now claims an agreement has been reached on a significantly reduced valuation.

The 24-year-old Nigeria international is under contract with Club Brugge until summer 2027. Despite the reported fee, Onyedika’s current market value is listed at €20 million, according to Transfermarkt.

Club Brugge signed Onyedika from Danish side FC Midtjylland in 2022 for €9.5 million, and he has since developed into a key figure in their midfield.

Onyedika is currently in Morocco with the Nigerian national team at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), where the Super Eagles have reached the semi-finals. Nigeria will face tournament hosts Morocco on Wednesday, with the winner set to meet either Egypt or Senegal in the final.
