Cyriel Dessers shines with brace in Rangers and Union Berlin preseason thriller

In an exhilarating preseason clash, Nigerian forward Cyriel Dessers scored twice in an eight-goal thriller between Rangers and Union Berlin.
Dessers, who played for 80 minutes, made a significant impact with his two goals, helping Rangers secure a draw against their German opponents.
Union Berlin opened the scoring through Janik Haberer, capitalizing on a defensive mix-up from Rangers. However, Super Eagles striker Dessers showcased his skill by dribbling past the Union Berlin goalkeeper to net the equalizer for the Gers.
The Iron Ones regained the lead with a penalty conversion by Theoson-Jordan, making it 2-1. Rangers’ Tom Lawrence then struck twice in quick succession, turning the game in favor of the Scottish side.
Union Berlin responded with goals from Haberer and David Pray, reclaiming the lead. Yet, Dessers ensured Rangers wouldn’t leave empty-handed by scoring a late goal, concluding the match in a thrilling 4-4 draw.
