By Saheed Afolabi

Shooting Stars defender, Desmond Ojietefian, is confident that the club will have a successful second round in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The Oluyole Warriors, who remained undefeated throughout December, have surged to third place on the standings, just three points behind leaders Remo Stars.

Ojietefian expressed his optimism for a strong second half of the season, emphasizing that 3SC’s goal is to clinch the NPFL title with a series of positive results.

“We are all out for it now and we will go for the trophy,” Ojietefian told Shooting Stars. “In the second round, our fans should expect more positive results from us.”

The promising defender also shared his joy in representing the renowned Ibadan side and the exciting prospects ahead.

“I feel very great, excited, and I thank the coach for the opportunity, for believing in me. I’m overwhelmed and really happy that I was able to contribute my own quota to the team.”

Ojietefian stressed the team’s commitment to intense training sessions, noting that hard work is the key to their success.

“There is no magic than hard work. We have been pushing hard, working tirelessly in training, and our coaches always push us hard—that’s just the secret.”

In the first round of the 2024/2025 NPFL season, the Oluyole Warriors secured ten victories, three draws, and six losses.
