Doma United agree one-year partnership with Kaka Global
Doma United have announced a one-year partnership with Kaka Global, which will provide data support for the Nigeria Premier Football League club and a new kit for their academy.
The club confirmed the agreement in a statement published on Friday, saying the deal was formally signed at their office on Wednesday 21st October, 2026.
Kaka Global, described by Doma United as a platform for data-plan purchases and mobile recharges, is the first company to enter into a partnership with the club.
Under the agreement, the company will supply one year of data for Doma United’s secretariat, media department and principal staff. It will also provide a new jersey for Doma Academy as a goodwill gesture.
Sporting Director Maxwell Akin said the arrangement formed part of the club’s plans to develop its operations and move Doma United forward as a professional organisation.
“The Chairman gave us a mandate that no matter how small the partnership, we should bring it to the club,” Akin said.
He added that the club relies heavily on internet access and that Kaka Global’s data support would be a significant benefit. Akin also said Doma United would help raise the company’s profile through increased marketing opportunities.
Club Consultant Emmanuel Adesanya praised Mohammed Ali, the proprietor of Kaka Global, for committing to the partnership and joining what he called the Tigers’ family.
“Kaka Global, you are the second Tiger in the Savannah,” Adesanya said. “We pray that what we are starting as a baby project will grow to become bigger.”
Ali described the agreement as an important achievement for both organisations.
“We have had numerous partnerships previously, but none as big as this, a partnership with an NPFL club,” he said.
He said Kaka Global had selected Doma United because of the club’s progress in the league and its ability to help promote the company’s services.
The partnership comes as Doma United continue their activities in the NPFL. The club were recently fined ₦5.25m and handed a three-match stadium ban.
