Goalkeeper Doris Ohia has expressed her ambitions for the upcoming 2025/26 NWFL Premiership season after completing a move from Naija Ratels FC to Edo Queens.

Ohia, who will be aiming to establish herself in her new team, revealed her personal goals for the campaign.

“My target this season is to be the best goalkeeper in the league, and I’m also praying for clean sheets in every match I feature,” she told www.nigeriafootballng

“I pray that in all my matches I get clean sheets.”

Edo Queens will be counting on her presence between the posts as they prepare for the new season.

Doris is blessed with safe hands, sharp reflexes, and the confidence to command the last line of defense.

She hopes to be behind the sticks when Edo Queens start their campaign against holders, Bayelsa Queens at Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenegoa, in the official opening match of the 2025/26 NWFL Premiership season.

The Benin City-based side will also meet Doris’ former team, Naija Ratels, in the same group as well as the likes of Heartland Queens, Ekiti Queens, Adamawa Queens, Castmog Ladies, Pacesetter Queens, Ibom Angels, and Rivers Angels.
